    General English and exam preparation are two very separate ideas. While exam preparation can help you squeeze out that extra 10-15%, you should make sure that you already know everything you need to pass the test before you even set eyes on an exam paper. In fact, the way that modern language exams are designed means that in theory any person who actually has the correct level should be able to walk in off the street without ever having practised the exam, and pass.
